Equestrian Team

screen-shot-2016-09-27-at-11-00-25-pmThe Wooster Equestrian Team is composed of club members who take lessons and compete Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) and/or Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) intercollegiate shows. All team members must take weekly lessons as well as pay for the individual membership and class fees.

Our team is at an advantage with our small school size; we are less affected by IHSA/IDA enforced number of rider limits. This means that most of our riders can compete, unlike riders at larger schools. We are also all-inclusive: as long as you are taking weekly lessons and paying show fees, you will show. Equestrian team members tend to stick with the team: everyone is supportive of each other and having fun. In the past, our riders have qualified for regional, zone and national competitions.
